The barred spiral galaxy NGC 672 and the spiral galaxy IC 1727 are two interacting galaxies in the constellation Triangulum.
The image is the sum of 75 two-minute photos taken on the night of October 11, 2024 between 20:34:35 and 23:11:00 UT for a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes.
At the bottom left you can see the trail left by the asteroid 1355 Magoeba of 5 kilometers in diameter at a distance from the Earth of almost 146 million kilometers, in the video you can see its motion.
